Animal Sponsorships are meant for donors who want their money to go directly to one specific animals care. When you sponsor an animal, the monthly fee is a rough estimate of what it costs for us to keep and care for that animal. Sponsorships may have an initial fee which is separate from their monthly fee, if that animal required a large amount to bring into our care.

You may cancel your sponsorship at anytime, and that animal will go back on the availability page for someone else to potentially sponsor.

If an animal has an unexpected cost come up, such as veterinary bills or enclosure repairs, we may contact their sponsor to see if they'd like to help with costs, but you are welcome to decline the requested donation.

Animal Sponsors will also be the first to know about the animal they are sponsoring. If that animal reaches any milestones, has any medical problems, or any other updates, the sponsor is the first to know!
